I got a text message from SPRINT. It said to dial *2 to get an
update.

Anyone know about this or is it only because I have a QCP 2700?

And I don't have text messanging on my QP 2700. Only SPRINT could
have sent the message.

Yes, that works fine. No big deal. *2 is customer service. If you
have an update for the phone it will walk you through the steps needed
to install it.
