has anyone experience a virus on their cellphone?

i just heard about it on the news and wondered if it is, or will be, a
serious problem.

I posted here about it a few days ago -- it went unnoticed probably
because it's not a real threat.

all the 'virus' does it spread to other bluetooth phones and it only
displays a name -- nothing malicious.

All the viruses so far just scan the area via bluetooth and then send a
message with themselves as an attachment. You have to accept them and in
some phones dig through your applications directory running them manually.
If you don't want to worry about it don't accept messages from people you
don't know esp if it has an attachment or turn off bluetooth functionality
you are not using at the moment.
