I used to use snapdial for connecting my sanyo 8200 to my laptop, and
dial the Internet. Some how I've lost my copy of that, and with a new
laptop, and no software to install, I bought the NEW future dial suite.
WHAT a piece of Crap, after installing, my browsers won't even run,
(Firefox, OR IE) OR my email client. As a matter of fact, it does
SOMETHING to where I have to keep rebooting my computer.
POINT:
I've uninstalled it, and installed Bitpim, OK. Everything is
working GREAT.
Now, I need to create a dialup networking connectiod for SprintPCS
Vision. I have the cable of course.
Can someone who has done it walk me through it, making sure it will
give me the high speed of vision, and not that of the OLD WW.
TIA

You need to set your phone up as a modem, and set up a dial-up
account, just like you would for a land-line modem and ISP. You will
also need to get a modem driver for the Sanyo 8200. You can get this
driver from 123usb.net. There are also instructions on that site for
setting up the phone to work as a modem for different versions of
Windows.
The dial-up number for Vision is #777. Leave the username and
password blank.
