Hi, is it possible to use Sprint PCS phones in Canada? Specifically Toronto?

Can't speak for Toronto, but I have used my sprint pcs phone in Eastern
Canada without problems, cost was 50 cents a minute roaming. Note the Web
service won't work.

In some places phone dropped into analog mode

Thanks for the info. I called XCustomer service and they really did not know
what I was talking about. Are there any options I can add to my account to
reduce roaming charges to Canada?

I've roamed in Toronto and Montreal. No problem - solid, clear
connections. And I believe the last time I checked it was 46
cents/minute.

Call Sprint and tell them you're going to Canada and you want
to be able to call back to the US and vice versa. They add that
ability to your service at no charge. I think they call this "enabling
international calling". If you think you're going to call back and
forth across the border a lot, $3/month (as I recall) gives you a
"Canada calling option" that reduces the per minute charge to
something very reasonable, though I can't remember how much. If you're
only going there briefly, it's probably easier just to pay the higher
per minute charge.

This information's a bit old, but should still be more or less
accurate. I added the "int'l dialing" ability years ago, and that has
carried through to all my plans since.
