Now Bob, you know I called *2. That's not really the point. What good is a
$5 credit for online invoicing if the system is down, slow, or just plain
useless? For you, your connection may work fine, but for me... if I can't
view MY invoice when it is convenient for me, then what the hell good is it?
I've put up with a lot of crap with their online site over the years, but
now that crap interferes with my viewing my own billing... sorry that is
just plain wrong.
How is it my American Express online features are always "flawless," yet
Sprint can't even produce a web site that functions for a Customer? If they
can't produce a web site worthy, then farm the site out to a company that
can run and distribute the information from it with dependability.
Again, I'm just ranting... but if I don't do something about it then I'm
frickin' STUPID!

Simple answer, Baboo Software:
Tue, Sep. 16, 2003
Sprint Corp. has hired two companies
to spearhead an outsourcing project that
eventually could send hundreds of local
technology jobs overseas.
The Overland Park company said it
had signed contracts with IBM Global
Services and EDS to develop and
maintain some Sprint software.
Sprint expects to save $150 million
over the life of the five-year contracts.
An undetermined number of computer
programmers and others will lose their
jobs as Sprint tries to both cut costs and
streamline its massive information
technology operations,
said Michael Stout,
Sprint's chief information officer since May.
Stout said he was uncertain how many
Sprint workers would lose their jobs over
the next 12 months as a result of the outsourcing.
Exact numbers won't be known until
the company meets with EDS and
IBM over the next few months, he said.
"I anticipate there will be several hundred," Stout said.
