Sorry, just have to vent a little. What the Fu*k good is online billing
(sorry bilking) and invoice review if you can't get to your information when
you want to? With some lame a.s notice suggesting your browser is out of
date... yeah right. If I don't leave, I'll return to snail mail invoices.

Sorry but after years and years with Sprint, I'm finally getting fed up.

Oh hell, trying to do anything with this is horrid. I'm even on broadband
and it's like I'm dealing with a frickin' 300 baud modem. Time to check out
T-Mobile or somebody else... this is antiquated sh.t.

Steve Banks still ranting and raving... all because of a PCS data charge
that shouldn't be there.

Err, why don't you just call *2?

Now Bob, you know I called *2. That's not really the point. What good is a
$5 credit for online invoicing if the system is down, slow, or just plain
useless? For you, your connection may work fine, but for me... if I can't
view MY invoice when it is convenient for me, then what the hell good is it?
I've put up with a lot of crap with their online site over the years, but
now that crap interferes with my viewing my own billing... sorry that is
just plain wrong.

How is it my American Express online features are always "flawless," yet
Sprint can't even produce a web site that functions for a Customer? If they
can't produce a web site worthy, then farm the site out to a company that
can run and distribute the information from it with dependability.

Again, I'm just ranting... but if I don't do something about it then I'm
frickin' STUPID!

Simple answer, Baboo Software:
Tue, Sep. 16, 2003

Sprint Corp. has hired two companies
to spearhead an outsourcing project that
eventually could send hundreds of local
technology jobs overseas.
The Overland Park company said it
had signed contracts with IBM Global
Services and EDS to develop and
maintain some Sprint software.
Sprint expects to save $150 million
over the life of the five-year contracts.

An undetermined number of computer
programmers and others will lose their
jobs as Sprint tries to both cut costs and
streamline its massive information
technology operations,
said Michael Stout,
Sprint's chief information officer since May.
Stout said he was uncertain how many
Sprint workers would lose their jobs over
the next 12 months as a result of the outsourcing.
Exact numbers won't be known until
the company meets with EDS and
IBM over the next few months, he said.

"I anticipate there will be several hundred," Stout said.

Thanks,

Tony, no ... they don't. You can also try *4 to check your usage as well.

I would not recommend T-Mobile or you will be calling customer service
because of lack of coverage. We have some folks at work that have T-Mobile
and they wish they didn't.

Depends on the area. In some markets, T-Mobile's coverage is extensive (like
Northeast Ohio).

Likewise in Milwaukee.  tmobile does a good job covering the area.  Not
at good as Sprint PCS, maybe not as good as verizon, but adequate.

And they're far better in Central and Southern Oregon. Go figure.

The bill you get in the mail is the only one that matters.  There is no
accuracy of what is shown online.

I had paper based bills sent, then switched to "online" invoicing. The
online invoicing earns a $5 credit monthly. This must be the figure Sprint
seems to think they owe you for such a lousy interface and undependable
system.

You get a monthly $5 credit?  Everything I've read says it's a one-time $5 credit.  That's
not enough incentive for me to switch...

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the online usage report during a
month, not the online bill.  When the end of the billing cycle comes and
they compute your bill, one sent to you on paper and an online invoice
will both be correct.

For osome unknown reason my Internet Explorer 6.00 browser does not work,
but my Fire Fox Browser as well as my Netscape bowser
works okay.

Never thought to try that Pete, but I will... thanks for the heads up.
