On August 8 my Sprint pCS Treo 650 received an SMS message from Sprint
advising that an "important software update" for the Treo 650 was available,
and I should go to http://www.palmone.com/us/support/sprintup05 from my
computer to download it.

 I finally got around to going to that web page a couple days ago, and it
just shows the Treo 650 Updater version 1.12 which was released back in
June, and that's when I installed it.

  So it looks like the SMS message from Sprint sent out on August 8 was a
mistake, or am I missing something?
