LG 225 voicemail notification problem

I have a new LG 225 from Sprint. The first voice mail will give an audible
alert as well as blinking the LED. Any subsequent voicemails will do
nothing, so if for some reason you didn't hear/ignored the first VM alert,
the next one won't alert you to someone leaving a VM.

My previous phone was a LG 5250, and worked fine on VM notifications until
the display screen went permanently blank about 3 weeks ago, and Sprint
offered me a free upgrade to the LG PM 225. Is the poor VM notify a bug with
the 225? Thanks much.

I have an A660 Or A 600 i think. i know its an old phone But if i don't
listen to my messages the next vms won't even make a peep. Then 3 days later
i get the vm notification. When i call it i get " you have 17 new messages".
has anyone else had this? is it the phone or the service?
thank you

The LG PM-225 has a number of software bugs that need to be fixed.
Mine randomly freezes up and power cycles off and on for no reason when
I'm using the web.
