I have the LG LX-350 and a Plantronics 320 headset. They pair and work
together for all normal functions (voice dial, last-number redial,
etc).
What I cannot get to work is the handsfree auto-answer function. My
undersatnding of this function is that, when activated, the phone
should auto-answer without me having to push any buttons. Other phones
belonging to friends do operate in this manner, but I can't make the LG
do it.
According to the manual, all I should have to do it go to SETTINGS -
SETUP/OTHERS - AUTO ANSWER, and set this to CAR_KIT/HEADSET. But so
far it fails to work - in that mode you still have to push the headset
"answer" button to receive a call (no change from normal operation).
I've also tried this with a Body Glove brand headset, same results.
That particular headset does auto-answer just fine with my friend's
Motorola phone.
Anybody out there using an LX-350 with BT and getting auto-answer to
work? Is this a known flaw of that phone?
Buffy in tech support transferred me to Barbie in advanced tech
support, who had no clue because "we mainly work with Treo phones".
thanks,
Martin

BTW, the function DOES work properly when I use a wired headset. As
soon as I plug the headset in, the display shows "entering headset
mode" and then auto-answers if I get a call. It just won't do it with
a bluetooth headset.
