Is there anyone out there that's used the 100kb/second internet service
(Vision??) on a regular basis that can compare the browsing 'experience'
to the satellite based internet services? I understand that file
downloads will be faster with satellite (within limits) but with just
regular browsing, page loads on satellite don't 'feel' much faster than
on my 26k dialup.

I can't get any form of broadband except satellite or one of the 100kb
speed cell services (no true broadband cell service in my area).

Would a step up to 100kb cell service be worth the cost spread from
$10/mo for dialup to $60/mo for the 100kb/sec cell service?

Thanks,

Charlie

I think Vision is rated at 144kbps.   It does not cost 60 per month.
You can get the service by connecting a usb cable to your phone and
your computer will utilize the phone as a modem.  Just make sure you
get he unlimited vision data plan, I think it around 20 dollars per
month.

I while back, Sprint started a plan that allows you to use your phone
as a modem.

A Vision plan doesn't.
