thenewguy - 21 Feb 2007 04:49 GMT I've be a loyal SPCS customer since 2/8/02, since that time I've had mostly good service from them, meaning that i pay my bill-they give me service. In the summer of 2006 I was getting pissed with my 2 yr old phone, so I blew it up with a firecracker. Knowing that i had an older phone at home, i switched my service over, NOT knowing that the older phone takes a diff data plan, of course the CSR didnt tell me this when i changed phones. So of course I get my next bill and its WAY over my usuall, well CS fixed it and suposedly changed my plan to suit the older phone. So the next month comes around and low and behold my bill is way more again. This was the last straw, I called CS to cancel! At this time I had been outta my contract since the beginning of the year(06) so I had nothing holding me back. So I get one of those retention bastereds and she offers me a great plan and a free phone(A-900), thinking that this was a great deal, I signed up for a 2yr agreement to get this "great deal". Well, ever since starting the contract, i mean "agreement" my bill has been f***ed up. So EVERY month i call in and EVERY month they fix it, for about 3 months, then they just stop fixing the problem and say some BS like we've credited ur account too much and cant do anything about it. What kind of BS customer service is that?? So i was like fine, f*** em, I'll just pay what the hell I want since they wont correct thier error. Well, that went on for a few months then a couple weeks ago i get a text saying that if I didnt pay up they were going to shut my phone off. I was like OK, I called the # on the text and talked to a few reps, one of which was very helpfull-- James, 6084 and a few that were supposed to help me-- Jules, JBAN2001 (those are their employer ID's if u want to know). Jules, said that he would credit me back the past dues fees in the amount of like $22.65 which would take my bill to $83.24 which i was planning on paying in full b/c its only $10-15 more than what its supposed to be. So I hung up thinkin \everything was taken care of. Well, I get a letter in the mail from SPCS a week later sayin that if I dont pay ASAP my phone would be turned off, WTF I thought I called about that. So, I called them back and they said that Jules DID NOT issue a credit, like he told me he would and that if I dont pay my account in full i'm screwed!
Now, my ? is, how the hell do u get thru to sprint corperate? I've tried so many diff #'s and only one produced anything which was a machine telling me that they were only open M-F 8-5, and surprise the only number that even works is "not in service" anymore when i have a chance to call when they are open. I really want outta my contract but i dont have the 200/$300 to pay the ETF. ANY HELP, PLEASE!!

Next time, use the firecracker on yourself.
Your actions are the cause of the problem, not Sprint.

He got mad at his phone & blew it up--and he wants advice.
His problems extend far beyond the uses he has found for firecrackers.

>Ya' gotta' wonder at some of these posters . . . He got mad at his phone & >blew it up--and he wants advice. Advice to him would be that he needs to consider tamping when working with explosives. He'd do a better job destroying the phone if he inserted the fire cracker, lit it, and then shoved the whole thing up his a.s.
Mij Adyaw - 21 Feb 2007 22:01 GMT I completely agree with this. :-)

My next step is to go on Dr. Phil and bitch about my problem, who knows maybe he can solve my obvious fixation with firecrackers and blowing things up, apearently in my a.s no less. Guess I'll stick to sprintusers.com for real advice and not a bunch of inbred canibals that like to say that everyone puts things in thier a.ses. And how do I know your all inbred canibals? I saw all of you in that movie "wrong turn" which sucked. Oh, one more thing, to those of you making craks that I'm using my "mommys" computer, my parents died 2 years ago, you fucksticks.

I STILL Can't believe that he had the chutzpah to actually admit on USENET that he got mad at his phone and blew it up with a firecracker!
Now THERE'S an "excitable boy!"

At least this guy admitted to blowing it up. :-)

He accepted a new phone and refuse to return the old one, which was part and parcel of his agreement on the new phone. It was a hoot!

I am deeply saddened by your loss. Losing one's parents is a terrible thing to go through. They would have been so proud of you.
Regards.

You probably killed them for telling you to get job and quit being such a worthless little sh.t.
Mellow Mike - 03 Mar 2007 01:45 GMT Is anyone in this group actually intersted in helping people with cell phone problems, or just degrading them? The problem has nothing to do with a firecracker.
Chances are, there's nothing wrong with your Sprint bill. If you want to save some money, you could have them block all data useage on the phone and remove the Vision package. Any time you call sprint, you are calling their corporate number. However, a number I have used a lot and have been pretty happy with is 1-800-658-7564.
Also, not paying your entire bill doesn't help you at all. They can turn off your service, charge you extra activation fees, and ultimately turn you over to collections, which hurts your credit.
My advice: keep paying the bill, talk to Sprint about what setup is best for you, try it out for a few months and see how you like it.
