I renewed my spring contract in October 2006 purchasing the Sanyo
Katana phone.

This is my plan:  Plan Details

Sprint Fair & Flexible Plan
* Adjustable Anytime Minutes
* $29.99 Minimum Monthly Charge
* Nationwide Long Distance Included
* Unlimited Night & Weekend Mins. Included
* Nights: M-Th 7PM-7AM Wknd: F 7PM-M 7AM
* Caller ID, Call Waiting
* Three-way Calling
* Voicemail

Plus:

Picture Mail SM       $5.00
Sprint PCS Total Equipment Protection     $4.00
PCS VISION OPTION     $15.00

Since October 2006 I've downloaded some ringers and call tones.

Each one has been $2.50.

As I was looking over my old bills I noticed there was a charge and
credit on my bill for $25.06 that I never paid attention to. Next to
it, it states PCS Data $0.0020/KB

This month I was charged the full 25.06 for the PCS Data $0.0020/KB

I cannot find anywhere on their site where this charge comes from or
why it would be $25.06 to download a ringer that is 35KB.  I'm trying
to do the math for this, and I cannot come up with The $25.06 in
anyway, shape or form.

What I can find on my past bills regarding this credit is this:
3 month unlimited Vision credit expires on Feb 24. a credit of  $25.06

What is unlimited vision credit?  This is not the same as PCS vision?

How much are they actually charging us for downloading ringers and
call tones that are around 35KB.  $25.06 seems to be outrageous to
download one ringer for three months.

Thanks in advance!
Christine.

I found out my answer in case this has happened to anyone.  They had
my Vision pack set up and I was incorrectly billed.

"The PCS Data charges are applicable on accessing PCS Vision/web from
your PCS Phone. This can be for downloading ringers, games and other
premium services; using Picture Mail, Video Mail, Sprint TV; sending
or receiving short mail messages; or accessing the web.

I noticed that your service plan includes the PCS Vision Pack for a
monthly charge of $15.00. This Pack includes unlimited web/data
access. Therefore, no PCS Data charges should have been applied to
your account.

However, this pack was not correctly provisioned on your account, due
to which the PCS Data charges were applied to your account. I
apologize for the inconvenience this error has caused.

I have provisioned your account correctly with the PCS Vision Pack.
Therefore, no further PCS Data charges will be applied to your
account. I have also applied a credit of $25.06 plus applicable taxes
to your account against the billed PCS Data charges. Your current
updated account balance after this adjustment is $55.66.

If there is anything else I can assist you with, please feel free to
write to us. We are here for you. Thank you for emailing us."

This happens all the time with sprint. I've had them for 5+ years and
they still haven't got my plan correct.
