I was talking to the Verizon sales rep. I told him Sprint Internet was
$15/month and I asked why Verizon was $44/month. He said that was
Internet only, and that I would not be able to have access to my email
from work. He said Verizon could offer me the same thing for $15/
month. Could someone please clarify this for me?  I have an exchange
server at work and I want to be able to run outlook on my treo and
know when I get a new email.

thanks

from what iam told it is the Internet to I have it on my phone its called
the vision pack or now adays the vision power pack.
verizons is higher because any of its services are over priced.
and sprint does have a free program you have to download and install at
least on a cell phone that lets you access any email that doesn't require
special access means.

You're confused because the Verizon rep was lying.

Sprint's $15 package lets you do anything you need to do online. It all
comes down to whether the software supports your connection. You're not
getting anything extra for the $44, and when you consider Verizon's
restrictive terms of service, you're actually getting a lot less.

thanks for your responses.
I went to the mall and the sprint store was packed, there were even
people waiting outside. I think many were paying bills and getting
service, but a good number were also shopping.
The Verizon store was empty and the two sales people (the only people
in the store) looked unhappy. I watched them try to lure a few people
in but everyone walked away.
When the Verizon sales guy told me Sprint would not allow me to do
email for $15 I told him my friend had that plan and his email worked
just fine.
He then got a little agitated and said, well Verizon's Internet is $44
and that's the price.
I said thanks and went back to the Sprint store.
