Can I get service which allows no internet access? Maybe certain phones that
do not allow internet access? I am tired of getting internet charges when I
don't use that service. I don't care if it's ATT&T ot T-Mobile.  Every month
with Sprint is getting into a big hassle now and they are of no help.
Cheaper for me to pay the fee and get out than to continue with them but I
don't want to chnace this happening again. Mayeb there are better ways but
this is all I can think of. Thanks.

If you have Sprint, just call customer service and disable data access from
your phone.

If your account is still in the old billing system, ask them
to remove/expire IP BASIC SERVICE.  That's the code that
enables internet access.  Without it, your phone would just
error out if you wanted to get on the internet.

I had several emails with them today, but have had talks with customer
support and emails. I think the one I got today, Bruce K.said he  will take
care of it, he seemed like he knew what he was doing and gave me a credit
for the internet usuage which the toerhs would not and said he was
disabeling the internet. Hopefully this time they do it.  Not that I really
care about Sprint but it is the only service I got that gives me reception
everywhere I go so far in the areas I work. I do thank you and the others
and hopefully this is the end of that problem. I hated the thought of giving
up that $600 but I would have spent that much and more for what they are
charging me. I didn't get credit for all of it but enough I could live with.
What apain. Anyway thanks again.

My Sanyo SCP 7000 phone has a menu option to disable PTT and Web.  Have you
checked your phone's menu to see if it has a similar menu choice?
