First, why would you want a tvguide on your Mogul?  Well, if your Mogul has
Slingplayer on it you should also have access to a wireless tvguide.

Slingplayer: http://www.slingmedia.com/go/spm

To make a long story short, if you want to see TV listings on your Mogul
from http://wireless.tvguide.com you might have to do the same thing I did.

I had to go to the above site with my desktop computer and then e-mail the
link that the desktop computer ended up at to to my Sprint Mogul.

I still can't get the HTML version of the above site to work but the text
version has everything I wanted anyway.

How about http://m.tvguide.com instead?  It renders perfectly on my palm
centro.

Thanks for the info, and I get a message that says "This page contains
errors and cannot be displayed." just like I get with
http://wireless.tvguide.com."

BTW I have seen http://m.tvguide.com work on one a device with WM5.

Maybe it's time to shop around for a new web client.  Perhaps novarra or opera?

On that "one device with WM5" where you saw m.tvguide.com render correctly,
what was the web client?

I use "Internet Explorer" on the WM5 device and since the WM5 device lets me
view m.tvguide.com in HTML it looks better on that than the "text" version
looks on my Mogul.

Interesting.  I'm using a T-Mobile WM6 device and both m. and
wireless.tvguide.com display correctly (the same) in IE Mobile.

Thanks for the info and I've done some further investigation after reading
your post.

I've seen m.tvguide.com work on two Moguls but those two Moguls did not have
the latest software update.  I'm still looking for another Mogul with the
latest software update to try it on.

Instead of playing update bingo, why don't you just try a different web
browser?  I'm sure IE works most of the time for you and the newest version
probably does a slightly better job except for a very few sites -- like
m.tvguide.com.  A different web browser might solve your problem with
tvguide and let you quit wasting time and get on with your life.

and which one/ones do you suggest.  BTW I've tried Mini Op 4 and it could
not reach FTP sites.

It isn't an either or issue.   You can have both installed (unless WM6 is
a *complete* piece of sh.t) and pick and choose which one you want to use at
any given moment.

Use IE for everything except where it screws up.
Use opera for those other sites where it can handle them better.

Does m.tvguide.com need you to use FTP?  If not, then use IE when you go
to a site that needs FTP.

So far m.tvguide.com is the only site that screws up on the Sprint Moguls
with the latest ROM upgrade and I have a way around the error message I get.

The way around the error message is to just use a "Favorite" with the
following URL :

http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwireless.tvguide.com%2F%28S%28aocqpea

Or just use a different browser when you want to read tvguide

Thanks and it looks like I could use "a different browswer" for more than
just "m.tvguide.com"

BTW after seeing page 99 of the May 2008 LAPTOP magazine I think I'll try
the browser at:
http://www.skyfire.com/
