A friend of mine uses Nextel for business because everyone in construction
does here. Someone gave him a really nice iDen Blackberry I don't have the
model number of (sorry.) and we noted it has Bluetooth. He asked me if he
could tether his laptop the business uses over a Verizon Aircard to the BT
on the Blackberry.
I paired my Nokia N800 Linux tablet with the Blackberry successfully, but
the tablet had NO PROFILES listed in the pairing at all. The tablet
identified it correctly as a PDA phone and the Blackberry identified the
tablet correctly as a computer....but no DUN/OBEX/FTP/etc, etc, profiles
could be found.
Poking around in the profiles, the Blackberry was paired with the tablet as
a Bluetooth Headphone....the ONLY profile it supports.
Does anyone know how to get Bluetooth DUN profile on Blackberry phones so
we can use them as a BT modem for a laptop/tablet on Nextel/Sprint?
