After using email or web browsing on the Treo 755P I cannot find a way
of turning off the internet connection. Leaving the connection to the
internet on causes the battery to quickly run down.

you go to 'prefrences' in the applications page... select Network...
and the hit disconnect in the bottom right corner. This is the only
way I know of... I don't know if there is a way to do it automatically.

Thanks a lot Megantsu for the suggestion, It worked!   At least now I
won't need to power down & up to disconnect.  Will try again with Palm
to see if it can be done automatically.
