Can the infrared port on the sidekick be used to beam to a motorola two
way pager or any other beamable device?  I have a client that has a ton
of contacts, and she needs to beam. Beam beam beam beam beam, and if not
why not?  Conspiracy theories anyone?

If you are buying the phone from T-Moble, the answer is no (for the
old sidekick).  They disabled the IR pot on the first sidekick to
bring down the cost of the unit for TMo customers.  I am not sure
about the new one.
