S105 crippled?

Is the S105 sold by T-Mobile crippled such that it will only work on certain
frequencies, even though it's supposed to be a tri-band phone?

No.  It is a tri-band and you can select 900/1800mhz or 1900mhz within the
phone.

It will work omn all 3 frequencies - 900/1800MHz for the rest of the world and
1900MHz for the USA.
