Ok, I've got this family plan where mobile --> mobile minutes are
free. Discovered over the weekend that when my folks were up north and
roaming on another network that calls between us were charged against
regular minutes.

What about roaming after 9pm? Is that still counted against nighttime
minutes, or is that charged against anytime minutes also?

*If* you have night minutes on your plan it will be charged against
nighttime minutes even if you are on a non-T-Mobile system.
