Me too.  I just signed up for ATTWS on their pre-pay GSM to try them out.
They have much better coverage in my area (Upstate NY).

Where i live in Md, near DC they both work about the same.  I upgraded my
phone to the Nokia 6600. Lot better RF. I am using my T610 Sony on it, the
RF is so bad.
The sony T610 isn't a good phone. Sorry I bought it for my first GSM phone.

True, but ATTWS is getting absorbed, and I find Cingular to be
unreliable when roaming, especially out of the country.  I'm suffering
with T-Mobile's reduced coverage (I'm in Ithaca) but better reliability,
with the assumption that I will be able to roam on Cingular 850 one of
these days.
