Phone number to get phone unlocked?

Does anybody here know the number to call to get an unlock code for a
T-Mobile phone? I have a friend who is travelling to India for
one-month and he wants to unlock his phone to use a different SIM while
he is away.

Call the same customer service number as for everything else (800
TMOBILE)

Just dial 611.....but I hope you've been a T-Mobile subscriber for 90 days
or more, or else they'll refuse.
