Service: Philadelphia to State College/Harrisburg Area PA

I travel between Philly and the State College/Harrisburg area VIA the
PA turnpike quite frequently. I'm with verizon now for voice, but
T-Mobile's Unlimited Internet plan is only 29.99, an offer I can't
refuse.
My interest in this plan is due to a need for my to have my laptop
connected to the internet while traveling. I need some feedback from
some kind people on whether or not T-Mobile works in the above areas.
The price is great but is the service??? Thanks in advance!

There is TM service in the Harrisburg area, but not much further north
than Dauphin county. At some point you begin roaming on Conestoga in
that area (incl. State College) and I don't think they have GPRS.
