Man I swear customer service is not much service. I emailed asking
them if I could do this while I was at work, and they wrote back
saying no problem. Just call CS.
So after work I called customer service, explaining that I'd like to
add another phone to my family plan. "Well, if you want that phone for
free, all you need to do is get on the website and sign up for the
39.99 plan. Then when you get the phone, you can call and switch the
billing over to our family plan."
Now that just sounds like terrible advice to me. I know somewhere
along the line i'd get screwed. Either the billing would not be switch
over, I'd be double-charged, or I'd get some sort of penalty for
breach of contract on the "new" account. Ugh!
Finally, I called the t-mobile store up at the mall. They told me they
can't get me the samsung at that price, but there are a couple of
other flip phones they can hook me up with for free.
Why does everything have to be so darn confusing!?!?

If you're in South Jersey, I can get the phone for you at that price from a
company store.
Totally legitimate.
Nothing shady.
I know a company store that will match T-Mobile.com prices.
Of course, you must also be totally honest with them.
