I'm approaching the end of my contract with Tmobile and I'm considering
another year with them if I can get a good deal on a phone upgrade.  I
checked at a local reseller where all the phones were displayed with two
prices.  He said if I upgrade I would pay the cheaper price for a phone
(which was still pretty high IMHO).  Do the Tmobile customer service reps
have the option to offer me a better deal (to get me to sign up again, of
course)?  If you were upgrading how would you do it?

I was offered several models (forget which ones) between $0 and $50 after
mail-in rebates if I did another year.  One was the Samsung e105 for $100 -
$100 rebate = free.  I didn't ask about any of the really expensive stuff.
They said 11 months after my last phone was the critical point.

Which phone were you looking at and how much did they want?
