I have been with T-Mobile for over 2 years. At some point, am I eligible to
get a free replacment phone?

It doesn't hurt to ask. If you're not under contract you can call and
tell them you're thinking of switching to someone else because they'll
give you a (insert favorite phone model here) for free or at a reduced
cost. Offer to stay with them for an additional 1 (or 2 depending on
the phone you want) year contract if they'll match the competitors deal.

Call Customer Care and ask them about your upgrade options, or visit a
Tmobile corporate store...
New Phone Every 12... Is what they call it...

You can get a discount off the retail price of a phone. Sure, there
may be a free phone, but it will be a no frills phone.
