Sidekick2 to south korea

i recently unlocked my sidekick2 just in case it would work in korea. i
heard it didn't but unlocked it anyway. is it a fact that a sidekick2 won't
work in south korea?

No, it will work just fine. Only problem is that there will be no GSM signal
for it to work fine with.

South Korea use CDMA Network..
No GSM Network in South Korea...
