Hello All,

F.Y.I, T-mobile has introduced "backdating" which is a way of eliminating
overage from your acct. For example, I was on the 39.99 600 min plan and i
went over by 211 min last month..i called in BEFORE my billing cycle ended
and they were able to set me up on the 45.99 plan for 1000 min and delete
my overage (211 x .40 = 84.40) by BACKDATING the new plan to the start of
my billing cycle... so it made it seems as if I had been on the 1000 min
plan all along...no overage!

you just have to make sure that its before your billing cycle ends...

You also have to realize that if you have an older plan with things
that you value such as included text messages it may not be possible
to get that plan back should you wish to change again in the future.

Also remember that if you are changing to a newly introduced plan and
the beginning of your bill cycle falls before the plan's introduction
you cannot backdate it. You will only be able to future date it.

Mid-cycle plan changes are no longer possible either. You can either
backdate or future date but no more "I want it to go into effect right
this minute."
