I stopped at the T-Mobile store today to enquire about what options I
had for data plans when I get my Palm device.

I'd planned on just signing up for the $19.99 T-Mobile Internet
option again, as I had when I had my old PocketPC phone. No such luck.

Both the sales guy and I were shocked to see that I've got only one
option: Pay $50 a month for unlimited gprs/edge/wifi.

On the plus side, he did say to come back in a couple of weeks after I
get my new unit, as it looked like they might be having some more
options coming available. I sure hope so -- $50 a month is a little
expensive for features I don't need. Arrrrgh!

Try asking for the vpn internet. When i called in to add it, they don't have
a $50.00 plan for vpn. They had to put me on the $29.99 vpn w/o hotspot.
