A few questions about V3 Razr

On page 86 of the user manual Network settings

Going into the V3 menu I find: Band selection; type and speed

What should the settings be for this menu item? What is the speed for
and what is the manual/automatic for and what is the best settings for
all of this?

Also where is the antenna located on the V3?

Automatic, Medium, at the bottom front of the phone.

Automatic looks at both US & non US bands. If you never leave one or the
other you can select just one. Speed is the frequency that it scans for
a network. Medium works well.
