Weird voicemail stuff

Starting about a month or so ago, every time I get a voicemail, and then
delete the VM, and hang up, I get a text message coming from "0", that's all
the text message says. Also, the VM icon won't disappear until I redial my
VM, telling me I have no new messages and hang up. What is going on here? I
haven't changed a thing on my end for at least a year. Thanks.

What model of phone are you using, is it SIM-locked or unlocked, and is
the firmware branded by a particular carrier?

It's a Nokia 3650, and it's branded for T-Mobile. However I bought it on
eBay about a year ago and it's supposed to be "unlocked", don't know if it
really is, as I'm using it with T-Mo anyway. I put the SIM card in from my
old T-Mo supplied 3650 which will no longer charge, probably been dropped
too many times. What is a SIM lock, is that the same as what I was saying
about mine, supposedly "unlocked"? It came with a T-Mo SIM card still
attached in it's credit card size holder, I never tried anything with the
new SIM card, as I figure I would have to pay to get it activated.

However, again, I been using this phone the way it is for about a year now,
and just lately the voicemail stuff started happening.

Thanks.
