Hi, I noticed the Regional 3000 Plan is no longer listed on T-Mo's website.
($49.99 a month). I'm presently on that plan and have been since I first
signed up with T-Mo almost 3 years ago, here in Cleveland, Ohio. It's now
listed on my "My T-Mobile" page as "Get More 3000". My account page also
states "Note: Your current plan is only open to those who are currently
enrolled under that plan. If you switch from your current plan, you will not
be able to re-enroll in that plan."
I assume I'm "grandfathered in". Does anyone know if when my present yearly
contract ends later this year, if I will still be able to keep the 3000
minute plan? Does anyone know of an add on for domestic US long distance as
I may need to call out of my region much more now. Thanks.
They typically let you keep your plan for as long as you stay with them
and don't change it.

Odd. The web site still shows the regional plan available in
Cleveland (and here in Atlanta, too.) I used zip 44101 for Cleveland;
YMMV.

Sometimes even price plans that are currently available show that.
Another possibility is that they shrank the regional area for the
Cleveland market. T-Mobile shrank the "regional area" in many areas
(including Atlanta) awhile back; customers who signed up when the
regional area was larger can keep the larger regional area they had at
the time as long as they don't change to a national plan and back.

They must have dropped it and re-added it, as my zip shows it again now as
the "Cleveland Regional Rate Plan", it used to be called just Regional 3000
or something like that.
The only thing I want is somehow to add long distance, even if $5 or $10
extra a month, but I don't see that as an option. I know some smaller
companies will add unlimited national LD for an additional 5 or 10 bucks a
month, don't know why T-Mo don't have this as an option.
