Hi, I bought the Samsung T809 and so far so good. One problem is the
batter gets used up pretty quickly. I am wondering if it's OK to
charge the battery is it's only half empty or should I wait until it's
about ready to die and then charge it?

I have realized the same now. The battery just goes so fast... I have
previously been advised with some phones & simillar items that it is
best to let the battery go real low b4 recharging rather than
recharging when half empty.. It is supposed to prolong battery life. I
follow it as far as possible.
