I have had T Moblie service for about two and a half years now, and I
would have to say that I have had no problems, and those times when I
have had some sort of Trouble They have been the most helpfull and have
really gone out of the way to try and help  Maybe I just have   been
lucky

I am sure that your experience reflects what 90% of their customers
have experienced too.  This is why they consistently are awarded for
their excellence in customer service by JD Powers.  5 years and
counting as tops in customer service certainly speaks for itself.  I
was at one time one of their customer service agents, so admittedly I
may be a little bias, but having worked with other companies, in a
similar possition, gives me a little bit of perspective few have.
This organization in my belief has the right idea, regarding the
training amd selection of its agents.  Are they perfect?  By no means,
but they seem to try harder to do it right.

I agree with you all the way. I've been with them since VoiceStream
days, about six or seven years, and I've never had a problem that they didn't
resolve quickly and graciously. I should point out that those problems have
been few and far between.

When I read your post I thought, "That's right, and it's nice of him to share
it," just before going on to the next thread. Then I thought, heck, put in
your twenty-five cents, too. The good news should be spread at least as much
as the bad.

I have been with them for about 4 and a half years and I have no
intentions of leaving them. They have been really good to me and I have
really only had billing issue that they fixed with no problems.

I had a 5190, too, but as soon as the 8290 came along, I was *there*! I used
to pull that out of my pocket and everyone went wild:
 Look how small it is!
 Does it really work?
 Wow!... etc.

I still think Nokia makes (made?) the best phones although I don't have one
now.

Ah, the 8290- my first Vstream phone...  I still have it.  occasionally I
still stick my SIM in it when I go to places like the beach where I'm
afraid to take my MDA for fear of damage.

I used to get the same reaction.  At the time I also had an 8260 (the
TDMA/analog version) on Cingular.

Until about two years ago, I had never owned a non-Nokia phone.

You bring up a sad memory, speaking of the beach: My last 8290 ended up in
the drink, in my buddy's pocket. He had borrowed it, jumped overboard to
untangle a painter that had wrapped around a prop. I thought "Surely he's not
carrying my phone..." but he was. Alas, good-bye 8290.
