Hi,

I been with T-Mo (USA) for 4 year, and am presently off contract. I
want to upgrade my almost 4 year old to a blackberry or dash type.

Can I open a new individual account and terminate my old one so I can
get the new subscriber's price? Can I transfer my old phone number?
What's the best way to do this? Thanks.

In my experience, if you've been a customer in good standing and haven't
upgraded within the majority of your last contract period you will qualify
for the new customer price on an upgraded device.

Call them and ask what your options are.

I've had the best of service from everyone at T-mo, even having the
early-termination fee waived because of a family crisis.

I've been with VoiceStream/T-Mobile since 2000.
