Just want to know if anyone is using the T-mobile Wireless Internet access
with the Sierra Wireless aircard.  I am planning to use it while travelling
down the east coast from New hampshire to Florida.

Thanks
Vince

   I tried it in Tampa a few months ago and it was excruciatingly slow.

Use it here in Washington and by itself it is slow 15-20kbps. But,
when used with a proxy server like Proxamation or Propel it is very
acceptable at 45 kbps.

I use t-mobile GPRS and the Aircard 750 as my main Internet source. Am
very pleased.

I have TMo's unlimited data account ($30/month) and the Sierra 750
card on both my laptop and my Pocket PC.  You will not set the world
on fire with its speed by any means - however, it is functional as you
can pickup email or do light websurfing.

It actually works pretty well when I need to access my server at home
using Window 2000's Terminal Services.

I plan to drop Sprint soon and sign up with a TMo voice plan soon.  If
you have a voice and data plan under one account, the data portion
goes from $30/month to $20/month.  Not bad for all you can eat access.
