I'm thinking about switching carriers from Sprint PCS (and my Samsung
SPH-A500 phone) to T-Mobile with the color Sidekick, but I'm slightly
hesitant. First off, does the Side allow you to download custom usermade
ringtones and/or screensavers from either (a) websites or (b) via a PC link?
Secondly, I understand that this is a GSM phone. Does that mean I'll be able
to use it internationally? Is the Sidekick compatible with E911 services?
And finally, does it have voice dialing? Thanks a lot for answering my
questions.

Only from its new "Catalog" which has a good selection of free ones - but
that requires an update which is crashing some SKs to the point they have to
be returned. Fair warning.

Nope, nope, nope. Wrong frequency, not new enough, not supported, in that
order.

No.

No, yes (T-Mo, like all other US GSM carriers, is using network-based
triangulation and not handset-based GPS so the phone you have doesn't
matter for E911), and no.
