Yep, the call waiting tone if very faint. I've missed it a few times
myself. It's a very low "boop" sound and if there is any outside
noise, you can miss it. I doubt there's anything that can be done to
correct it. Maybe Samsung can help.

one thing can be done and that is return the phone. Found alot of
complaints on web about not being able to hear it
it is in the mail back to T-Mobile

I've had the same trouble with the 715 and E105. It's a Samsung deal I
believe.

Same with a lot of phones. They should just make it adjustable. Any sound
a phone makes should have a volume adjustment (especially childish power-on
dingly-doos).
