Hi,

I have T-Mobile, but when I go to West Virginia and Kentucky my phone
says "AT&T Wireless".

Can I create a GPRS profile for AT&T wireless and access the internet,
like I do with $4.99 T-Zones?

What is the APN? What other parameters do I need to set?

Thanks,
John

My underestatnding is that you can only use your GPRS on "nativee" service. So
when you are  roaming on AT&T  it's not possible  - regardless of whether or
not you might be charged roaming for voice.

My experience with AT&T is that there is no APN or login for GPRS. My
Cingular profile works just fine on ATTWS and SunCom.

My guess is that if you can't get it working it's because T-Mo and
ATTWS don't have roaming agreements for GPRS.

Have you tried just using your existing T-Mobile settings? T-Mobile
does international roaming with data:

It doesn't say anything about reconfiguring your device to work in
each country. I suspect that, the same way you get your existing phone
number, you also get your existing data plans. When your SIM connects
to a roaming system, it ends up communicating with T-Mobile USA. I
don't know if voice calls are always routed back through to the USA,
but I'm pretty sure that data roaming always goes back t the US.
