So far, I've looked at:

Nokia 6133
Razr V3
Motorola V360

Not thrilled by them, are there other phones that are better (excellent
reception/bluetooth/battery life)?

THANKS!

I love my PEBL, and it does Bluetooth. Battery life is actually quite
good.

It's all fun and games until someone starts a bonfire in the living room.

I have the Samsung slider phone, the 629. Great bluetooth phone.

I've used the v360 for three or four months now, the BT is excellent.
Sounds as good as the regular handset.

V360 is ancient technology in the cell phone world. It was introduced quite
some time ago. It has been discontinued for over a year. The PEBL was
probably its replacement and that two has been discontinued. You might find
both in a slow T-Mobile company store or in an indirect dealer. But beware.
The indirect may be selling used or refurbished units. There might even be a
few left in T-Mobile's warehouse that are being offered through customer
care. In any case, wherever you find it, it is old technology.
Although the RAZR has also been around a long time, it recently had a
software upgrade to allow for myFaves. Hopefully they also updated other
aspects of the phone. And now there are about a half dozen different RAZR's.
Go for a current model like the Nokia or the RAZR. You'll be able to get
parts and accessories. Call a couple of stores and try to get a case and a
car charger for each of the phones. You'll not find a case for the V360 and
unless it takes the same charger as the RAZR, you will not find a charger
either.

The PEBL is barely a year old. It's still being sold on T-Mo's
website, albeit as a free phone.

The RAZR is older than the PEBL.

Do you know why it is being offered free on the web site and not even
available in the stores?
That is where discontinued phones go to die.

Which RAZR? All the old RAZR's are gone, except for possibly the web site
(again). All the current RAZR's have updated software.

Quite frankly, I don't care which phone you purchase. Just offering some
current information.
I suggest you go into one of the company stores for your information.
There are too many misinformed individuals with too little knowledge of the
industry offering opinions that are worth little or nothing.
With that, I'm gone.

Nope. Why? Because until a few weeks ago, the closest company store to
Victorville was in Rialto, 45 minutes away.

I'm not counting mall kiosks or other indirect dealers, because they
don't always sell the exact same phones.

> That is where discontinued phones go to die.

OK, I won't argue that.

> I suggest you go into one of the company stores for your information.

I didn't need to ask them in this case. I know how long the PEBL's
been out. Besides, due to distance, going to a corporate store was
completely impractical until now.

T-Mobile *does* now have a corporate location that just opened up at Bear
Valley and Hesperia Road, in Hesperia. Just around the corner from me.

What exactly did I say that was actually incorrect? You were arguing
semantics with me. All I said was that it isn't discontinued, which
technically is correct. For now, anyhow.

> With that, I'm gone.

Yeah, whatever. Won't miss you.

I have several cases for the v360. I also have three chargers for it,
one for the house, another for the car, and a third is a mini-USB
cable. So my cable for my point and shoot Canon SD600 works as well.
So much for not being able to find a charger for it.

It isn't the newest phone on the market, pretty sure it has been
dropped now. But it had all the features I wanted at the price I
wanted. Plus, it was not a RAZR, which all the cool kids had a few
years ago, but is kind of old and busted these days.
