Apropos of the recent call-forwarding discussion, I think I'm set
wrong. I'm set to forward on busy/no reply to 805-637-7249. I thought
the backdoor number was 805-MESSAGE, which is 805-637-7243. I recently
replaced my SIM - are the newer SIMs programmed to dial 7249?

It's all fun and games until someone starts a bonfire in the living room.

My SIM is a six year old Voicestream SIM and has the same number as
yours.  I assume it changed somewhere along the way in an OTA update.

Strangely, trying to retrieve my voicemail via 805-MESSAGE didn't work
for me when roaming recently, but dialing "123" did!
