Thinking of moving to TMobile but the coverage on their website doesn't look that good as against Cingular etc I'm in Bradenton. Anyone else with t-mobile? We have great coverage in the Naples / Ft. Myers area. The T-Mobile on-line coverage maps are extremely accurate down to the street level. On Verizon if my phone showed less than half of the bars for reception, it was extremely unlikely that I could actually make or receive calls. On the T-Mobile phone if even a single minuscule bar shows, calls work fine! Anyone else with >t-mobile? Depends on just what level of service you subscribe to T-Mobile has roaming partners everywhere, and many are using 850Mhz, which T-Mobile themselves do not. Meaning: with roaming, you will find coverage better or even much better than on T-Mobile equipment alone. So, just make sure you get free roaming. T-Mobile is probably the cheapest way to use Cingular's equipment, by roaming on it. Go figure! Bill According to the TMo rep I spoke to, the only 850 roaming is in selected areas of the midwest plus Little Rock, AR. BAsed on that info, the ATT?Cingular coverage in FL would be of no use to you.
