Sort of got off track, so I'll try again. Have an old T-Mobile Nokia phone.
Can I buy a "T-Mobile To Go" Nokia 6030 from Wal*Mart and put my sim card in
it? Wal*Mart price for the complete phone is $29.98

Thanks,
Al

It should work.  As long as you don't use any time from the SIM that
came with it you can return it if it doesn't work.

Just did exactly that, though my 'old' card was only a year or so old.
Old SIM is happily working fine in new phone.
