But that doesn't necessarily mean you can cancel the cable modem.
T-Mo's service is almost undoubtedly slower, for one thing, and is
probably more restricted than a cable modem in terms of what you're
allowed to access.

Yes, you'll be able to, but no, you won't want to.

T-Mo's EDGE data is fairly slow (150kbps, or about 1/25th the speed of
Comcast's 4mbps service) and latency is high, making web pages slow to
load, making the T-Mo service feel more like dialup than broadband.
Great for mobile or "emergency backup" use, but frustrating for everyday
net use.
