Storing overseas numbers in Phone Directory

I am having a problem storing the + (plus sign) prefix that T-Mo
requires before the country code of foreign phone numbers. The Motorola
V330 phone just won't let me enter a + sign with a phone number. Is
there some trick to accomplish it?

Press and hold "0" till it turns into a "+"
