I just recently replaced a couple of old cell phones with
T-Mobile pay as you go phones, so I'm new to this.

Each phone has had minutes added once so far, via online
ordering. However, in both circumstances, a few weeks after
the fact, I've received e-mail messages that $25 more has
been added. So far it looks like there has been no credit
card activity, and the phones don't appear to show increased
balances, so I'm at a loss. Could it be that the e-mail
notification is messed up?

Anyone have any experience like this? I haven't called T-Mobile
yet, but that's next.

Thanks...Guy...

Hello Guy,
Thats  abit strange, but tyhen again with TMOBILE stranger things have
happened. I can only assume that maybe your original confirmation SMS
messages are just getting thru? BTW, did you start off with $25.00 at first?
If you just activated the basic starter kit, it is only a $15 credit. One
thing you may want to take advantage of is the www.mytmobile.com site which
has just now been opened up to TMO2GO users. Allows you to check useage cadd
minutes, buy ringtones.

These are all FREE Calls below, Some codes that may help you also are:
*3279 TMO2GO Cust Service and also will tell you your available Minutes
#686# will tell you your mobile number in case u forget whats in what phone
#999# will send TEXT message to phone with your balance

Besides that, I have no answer to your originall question based on
experiences or current complaints from elsewhere. I think its a fluke, and
will not be the first. But as a whole TMO2GO does the job well for you. Best
deal in town for the PrePaid user, well most (gotta be careful with wireless
company products and generalizations in a newsgroup!)

T-Mobile's prepaid is a very good deal. However, unlike T-Mobile
postpaid, T-Mobile prepaid cannot roam off of T-Mobile's network, even
at extra cost. Once you go "gold" with T-Mobile prepaid, future airtime
purchases have a one year expiration, which is a great.

If you're looking for the best coverage on prepaid, use PagePlus which
uses Verizon's network, and which can roam (at extra cost).

Thanks for your response...this was a basic starter package ($15 credit to
start) and then a $25 addition (from mytmobile.com) when that ran out.
I checked with my credit card company...I've only been charged for $25 on
each phone (which what I thought I've ordered), despite getting email
several weeks after the fact. I'll see what happens next time I add
minutes.
