Um, what about the Dash- it was essentially the SDA's replacement. (HTC
Excalibur, IIRC) If it's not on the website, they're just sold out at
the moment.

Yes- the Dash. It received a WM6 upgrade in early May.

I was thinking that the Dash would be replaced by the S630 ("Cavalier") -
which looks like the Dash but with 3G added. Call me crazy but I've always
been partial to a candy-bar form factor - hence my curiosity about the S710
("Vox"). As cool as the Dash is (even cooler with WM6, I suppose) it ain't
no candy bar...

True- sadly the US carriers seem to have abandoned candy-bar WM phones
for the Dash/Q/Blackjack wide, flat, and full QWERTY style. I doubt we'll
see the Vox here.

I was almost sold on the Dash, until I tried it in-store and could not
find a way to select a region in on a weather radar graphic image on a web
page to zoom in on. No touch screen so I couldn't physically highlight
the area to adjust. If someone could email me how to do it, it may help
change my mind. Otherwise, I'm looking at the Moto V195s and Compaq IPAQ
rx5915 combo. Both would give me the functionality I want.
Thanks.

Alan, I'm thinking of doing this to my SDA. Where did you get the ROM and
is there a clear set of procedures for doing it someplace?
