Anyone know a cheaper way to call cell phones in Europe?

Yahoo Messenger charges 15 to 27 cents to call most countries in
Europe from my computer.  That's too expansive for me.  Looking
for cheaper rates.  Thanks in advance for sharing information.

Unfortunately, you're paying the recipient's mobile bill for them, so
there isn't much of a way around it.

Setup Voip.  Call a local number and then have it call out to an international
number.  The rates on VoIP are far cheaper [or free, depending upon the
provider and plan].

VOIP providers like http://www.voipdiscount.com/en/free.html allow free
3 minute trial calls from your landline/cellphone to outbound local and
selected international destinations. Free calls are limited and only
valid for landlines in destinations marked as free. Calls to the UK
range from free to 18¢, you need to check their pricing chart first.
There is no software to install. You initiate the call from their
website, entering your landline and outbound call numbers. They call
your phone then connect you after you pick up. The 3 minute call
limitation might have changed. They do not specify the time limitation
of trial calls on their website.

If you have a wifi-enabled cellphone you can also check out Fring
www.fring.com which allows you to make wifi calls from your cellphone
using your VOIP provider. You don't need a wireless carrier or even a
sim card to use the service. Like most VOIP plans, the calls are free
between compatible VOIP users.
