On my roof there's 4-bar connectivity; on the street 2-bar; and
in the house 0-bar. So I'm looking for a T-Mobile cell phone with
a port/jack for an external antenna. Can anyone list a few candidate
phones? Does anyone have a slightly used T-Mobile cell phone
to sell -- with external antenna port of course?
Thanks, Herb

Do you have high speed internet service? If so, check
out the "hotspot-at-home" service.

I have an old T28 I believe it's antenna is removable you can check them out
on E-bay. Couldn't you fashion an antenna with coax form the roof to inside
the house stripping the center wire at both ends and grounding the shield?
I wonder if it would radiate enough to work with your phone.

None of the current phones will likely do it. Older phones such as
the Nokia 6340i or the Nokia 6310i have an antenna port on the back.
You have to remove a small rubber plug to access the antenna port.
