Getting a PDA soon and starting to look for who i'll have my next contract
with.

Any pointers to tarriffs with good inclusive GPRS would be gratefully
received.

I tend to make few phone calls (maybe only 20-40 mins per month) and send
quite a few texts (maybe about 100 per month.)

Thanks in advance

Regards

I guess I'm possibly best off on one of the Orange your plan tariff's with a
GPRS package add on?

If all you want to do is send text messages, GPRS isn't going to help you,
no UK network currently supports it.

Oops sending before ready..! I meant to say no UK network currently
supports sending SMS via GPRS.

Ivor is mistaken. You can send SMS via GPRS WAP through any UK network for
under 5p. Try www.vgsmail.com. It will appear to come from your registered
phone so people can reply to your phone in the normal way.

I was in fact making no reference to using SMS with GPRS. But Ivor Jones was
referring to the SMS over GPRS thing, which no UK network has or is likely
to implement.

I want to use GPRS for browsing the web and e-mail with my PDA.

Eh? You said you wanted a good inclusive GPRS tariff for a phone sending 100
texts a month.

If you are going to using GPRS to browse/email - why not SMS if it is
cheaper? Under 5p from almost anywhere to anywhere...

Didn't think of it like that, but I know I'd still like to send from the
Phone sometimes either way.
