Orange morons sent me a "Try" free text, SMS to my ED50
which also doesn't qualify

With FT Orange bring new meanings to the word petty, I wouldn't blame you.
Voda is easily the most professional alternative network to Orange.
If you think Orange CS is bad, then O2 will be a revelation in awfulness

I got an SMS saying they were extending my monthly free messages for 6
months to an account which doesn't have any.

Which is why a lot of businesses use it.

Nope, try emailing them, asking for both registering and enabling GPRS.
Sprinkling the email with holy water from Lourdes, and getting a
Papua New Guinea witch doctor to cast a spell over it might help too

I'll give it a go then, I'm sure the Try T&Cs say not, or was that for
OVP Virgin, or HSData?
To think some overpaid moron in a suit up at the exec has given himself
the job to decide with tariffs should be excluded from which Try offers );-p
Snook must be spinning in his Thai Spa

Probably the only decent perk we get?
What I find worse is that DSG staff usually get a worse deal than Joe Public
off the street. That's why I nearly ALWAYS get my phones from OSPS or if
it's an upgrade, from Orange direct ;)

The good thing about a staff tariff from Orange, is that, as long as it
isn't an OVP one, then they just give you the discount.
I don't know what the score is with Vodafone staff tariffs, but I do know
that the O2 ones are fixed.

I tried dialling 294 from my phone, this got me straight through to an
operator, no menus, no holding, no "britney spears singing about toxic
men" even said my name!
Can anyone get these 80 extra free minutes?

I got straight through as well, no holding, just answered within 3 rings.
I don't know if anyone can get them, it says on the
website...(http://www.orange.co.uk/speech)
"This offer is available to selected Your Plan 60, Your Plan 120 and Your
Plan 200 cross network customers who have been contacted directly by
Orange."
